CITY OF RALEIGH FIRE STATION #22

RALEIGH, NC

Project Summary:
Atlantec partnered with Davis Kane Architects to deliver PME (Plumbing, Mechanical, and Electrical) design services for a cutting-edge fire station. The facility was outfitted with a new packaged VAV rooftop unit, DX mini split systems, a vehicle exhaust capture system, and an energy recovery ventilator, ensuring optimal functionality and comfort.

In line with the project's LEED accreditation, Atlantec prioritized energy efficiency in the design of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The plumbing system incorporated highly efficient instantaneous hot water heaters and low-flow fixtures to maximize water and energy savings.

Similarly, the electrical system featured LED lighting fixtures, solar panels, and seamlessly integrated into the new building automation system, effectively reducing energy costs and enhancing overall operational efficiency. Through innovative design and meticulous planning, Atlantec contributed to the development of a sustainable and high-performing fire station that meets the highest standards of environmental responsibility.
