RENU LIFE

GOLDSBORO, NC

Project Summary:

Atlantec engineers collaborated with Oakley Collier Architects to deliver PME design services for the construction of the RENU Life long-term care facility. The mechanical system integrated a blend of new split system furnaces, PTAC units for resident rooms, and mini-split system heat pumps. Additionally, a new commercial hood system was installed in the kitchen. The plumbing system featured new waste, cold water, and hot water systems, complete with a polymer grease trap and recirculating water heater. For the electrical design, Atlantec provided power for residential suites, kitchen equipment, and medical devices throughout the facility. New lighting fixtures were also incorporated to enhance the patient experience. This collaboration ensured the creation of a modern and efficient long-term care facility designed to meet the needs of residents and staff.
